Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to JOMAFISH: Journal of Marine and Fisheries Science are first screened by the editorial team for scope, quality, originality, and compliance with the journal guidelines.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers assess the scientific quality, methodology, clarity, originality, and contribution of the manuscript.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the manuscript may be accepted, revised, resubmitted, or rejected. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned editor.
